Builders in London

Restaurant and commercial fit-outs and home refurbishments in London, including four CERU restaurants and a production kitchen.

London is where our story as a company began. In 2016, director Andrea Leocata stepped in to help Barry Hilton renovate the first CERU restaurant in South Kensington after another builder let him down. Since then, our work for CERU has included four restaurants and a production kitchen, alongside home refurbishments and extensions across the capital.

Restaurant and commercial fit-outs in Central London

At CERU Farringdon we transformed a former ITSU restaurant through a complete strip-out, layout redesign and new fit-out. Working within the restrictions of a Zone 1 location, we reconfigured the kitchen and toilets and drilled through the existing slab to install new drainage. The fit-out of around 4,000 sq ft was completed in three months.

At CERU Queensway we delivered a complete restaurant fit-out, with a bar clad in reclaimed timber, an illuminated back-bar, dining areas, the open kitchen and the street frontage.

Building in Central London means planning around deliveries and access, neighbours and shared buildings, landlord requirements and a fixed opening date. We plan the programme around those constraints so the space is ready for business when you are.

Home refurbishments and extensions across London

London’s terraced and semi-detached houses are ideal for rear and side-return extensions and loft conversions that add light and space. At 108 Shell Road in Lewisham, a new rear extension with a glazed roof opened the ground floor to the garden, together with a new kitchen and refurbished living spaces.

Frequently asked questions

Do you work in Central London?

Yes. Our commercial projects are mostly in Central London, including Farringdon, Queensway and South Kensington, and we carry out residential work across the city.

Can you work to a restaurant or shop opening date?

Yes. We plan the strip-out, structural work, services and fit-out around your target opening date, and keep you updated on progress throughout.

Does my extension need a party wall agreement?

Work on or near a shared wall often falls under the Party Wall etc. Act 1996, which is common with London terraces. Notices and agreements are handled by party wall surveyors; we can explain when this is likely to apply and work with your surveyor on the programme.
